The Bowl White store in Las Vegas, Nevada

All work and no play makes moi a cranky beauty addict, only the Las Vegas Basin White store, a beauty brand I'd never even heard of earlier, saved me from myself.

The company has merely 2 stores for now (Vegas and Orlando, Florida). The Vegas one, located among the Grande Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Hotel, is brand spankin' new. If you'd similar to larn more than most the company, the line'due south also available online.

I judge information technology's fitting that after their Downtown Disney store in Orlando, Basin White chose the Disney-like Grande Culvert indoor mall for their second location.

Gondolas packed with tourists weave through Venetian-inspired canals as shoppers cross footbridges and live opera singers provide the groundwork music for ambiance. Yeah … information technology's Vegas cheesy, but still pretty fun. 🙂

The shop itself stopped me in my tracks. It's gorgeous and smells wonderful. There are other brands out at that place like Basin White, with similar rows of colorful glycerin soaps, tubs with gigantic bath bombs and various scents, but this i stood out to me for a bunch of reasons.

Similar Lush merely with subtler scents

Their products await Lush-y — like shampoo confined and solid moisturizers — but I call up the shopping experience at Bowl White beats Lush hands downwards, as a lot of Lush'south products pack too much fragrance for my sensitive schnozz. Sometimes it's only too much.

Basin White's products smell lighter and mostly less synthetic to me. Granted, scent's a very personal matter, but I admittedly honey Bowl White'southward approach to fragrance.

Time to play, aka the shopping feel

The shop feels like a spa. The open layout, lighting and black/white tiled floor reminded me of a Pottery Barn-inspired bathroom.

Like whatever proficient beauty shop should, Basin White makes samples of everything available to smell, bear upon and exam. The highly interactive staff isn't pushy either, and they encourage product playtime, waiting at the set up by testing sinks with paper towels and smiling faces.

With just two physical locations, the line's however pretty exclusive, but I expect that to change. Their products are made without constructed fillers, parabens, booze or mineral oil and contain high-quality ingredients similar shea butter, beeswax and sunflower oil.

How to buy

You can still give Basin White products a try fifty-fifty if you aren't headed to Vegas or Disney World soon.

The online store sells the full line and ships throughout the United states of america and Canada. Josh tells me the company's working on broader international aircraft, likewise.

I was tempted to clean out the shop but left with just one affair — their solid moisturizer bar in a smell called Satsuma ($12).

I love it. It's portable, highly moisturizing and has a light orangish olfactory property. It takes the place of a canteen of body lotion, so for my next trip, I programme on cutting and bringing a small piece!
